Flexibility is being open to change. You consider others’ ideas and feelings and don’t insist on your own way. Flexibility gives you creative new ways to get things done. You get rid of bad habits and learn new ones. Flexibility helps you to keep changing for the better.

Flexibility in my estimation is also about giving up control… I might say I’m not a controller but there I go judging that person or situation. Taking a look in the mirror and taking an inventory of the good and not so good in regard to our own thoughts and behavior is not always easy, however it is definitely essential. There is actually a correlation between control and unforgiveness and those people or situations that you or I  are not able to forgive lives in a place within ourselves. Sometimes manifesting as sickness and/or dis-ease. Being flexible is certainly a valuable virtue AND there is much below the surface to explore.

It might be time for a 70×7 forgiveness practice…
