Orderliness is being neat and living with a sense of harmony. You are organized, and you know where things are when you need them. Solve problems step by step instead of going in circles. Order around you creates order inside you. It gives you peace of mind.

I was literally talking about this today… all of the great teachers talk about discipline, compounded interest, leading with purpose, knowing what you want and who you are. I think in order to be in that space- you have to have an orderliness in your life.

If life is chaotic, disruptive, disorganized, etc- how can you stay on top of anything? On a deeper level – there is an old saying that “How you do one thing is how you do everything”. So think about that… Look around your home for a minute. What is the general state of affairs? Is it immaculate? Is it clean? Is it tidy? Is it bearable? Is it disorderly? Is it a complete mess? Now look at other areas of your life and ask the same thing. How are your relationships? How’s your money? How’s your health? How’s your Spirituality?

There is no judgement here- just an opportunity for each of us individually to be honest with ourselves to see where there is room for improvement-  or maybe in some cases a complete overhaul.

It’s all an opportunity…  we are looking through the lens of our own perspective. How’s the view? and how is your peace of mind?
