Being purposeful is having a clear focus. Begin with a vision for what you want to accomplish, and concentrate on your goals. Do one thing at a time, without scattering your energies. Some people let things happen. When you are purposeful, you make things happen.



My experience is that when I have clear intentions- I get things done. There is energy and focus and I feel good about what I am doing. It reminds me that I am on the right path and things flow smoothly when I’m operating from this space. Conversely, if I don’t have goals that I’m working on, or if I’m not clear about what it is that I need to be doing- I don’t have much energy, I feel lethargic and moody. I also find that when I’m unfocused Im not working out and taking care of myself- If Im going to the gym, working out and taking care of my health- I feel good and I bring that positive energy to my day. Meditation for me is the same way. When I start my day anchored, when I make time to be still and ground- it changes how I see things. I am much more calm and things just seem to work better in all areas of my life. There is a definite Mind, Body, Spirit connection and I know that when I’m committed to being purposeful my life works better…
